Bloober Team has released the very first gameplay preview for its upcoming horror title Layers of Fear. Originally announced back in June 2022, Layers of Fear is Bloober Team’s latest horror game which is built on the original game in the iconic horror franchise. The gameplay preview is over 11 minutes long and it gives us a detailed look at how the game is shaping up to be. Check it out below:
As you can see in the trailer above, we can see a little bit of everything. Apart from a few in-game cinematics, the trailer also showcases detailed exploration, puzzle-solving, escape sequences, and more. As you can see the gameplay is pretty much the same when compared to the original titles however visually, the game looks absolutely astounding. The reflections, the special effects, and everything else in the game is just mind-blowing and show how the developers have worked on the upcoming title.

Built on the Unreal Engine 5, Layers of Fear will offer players next-gen visuals as it supports Ray Tracing, HDR, and 4k resolution as it makes use of the Lumen system to achieve superb graphical fidelity and create a meticulously refined horror experience that the players can expect from the developer based on their presence in the horror genre.
