Super Smash Bros. Ultimate

Near the end of this year’s The Game Awards, Joker from Persona 5 was announced as a DLC character for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Check out the reveal trailer below.

Joker is Person 5’s main protagonist and he is confirmed as the DLC character for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Super Smash Bros. Ultimate literally came out today and we got its first DLC character trailer.

Reggie Fils-Aime who was at the stage and presented the trailer to the audience had this to say

This gives you a flavor of how we’re approaching the DLC, There’s going to be five characters. Each character will come with a stage [and] it’ll come with a collection of music. These are characters that are new to the series… characters that you would not anticipate to be in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

This means that the remaining characters are also as unique as Joker and players will not be expecting them to be in the game. Joker is indeed a very unique character and his addition to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate marks a union of two of the greatest franchises that are currently in the market.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate has been released worldwide today exclusively on Nintendo Switch. It features the largest selection of playable fighters ever featured in a Super Smash Bros game and also the highest number of stages where the fights take place.

The stages are all taken from a variety of franchises whose characters are also representing their games in Super Smash Bros. This makes Super Smash Bros, Ultimate the biggest Super Smash Bros. game to date and more content is already planned for the future. We can hardly wait for it.

The release date for Joker’s DLC character is not currently known. We will update you as soon as the developers give us a release date.
