Ubisoft has announced the release of Hyper Scape Season 2: The Aftermath for all platforms. The new season comes with brand new content including a new hack, weapon, Hyper Scape Crowncast features, gameplay lore, a new Battle Pass, and customization items. The new season is now live across PS4, Xbox One, and PC and you can jump in the new season by updating your game to the latest version right now.

Starting with the new content, Hyper Scape Season 2 will allow players to discover a new district and a new weapon called the Atrax. It fires sticky explosive in a burst fire fashion that explode after a certain period of time. A new limited-time hack is also coming during this season called Platform which will allow players to deploy a horizontal platform useful for navigation and offer new movement opportunities.
For the entire duration of the Season 2, Hyper Scape will continue to receive several brand-new limited-time events and games modes such as Crown Rush Duo and Floor is Lava. The Platform Hack will play a major role in Floor is Lava as the ground will transform into deadly lava. Additional details will be released later however Crown Rush, Faction War and Turbo Mode are also making a comeback during this season.
The new Memorial district and landmark are located in the North of Neo-Arcadia, on top of Unity Hill where Mathieu Eiffel’s Season 1 secret lab was located. It provides an excellent view of all of the districts of the virtual city. Crown Rush Solo will return with a brand-new feature Second Chance where players will get inserted again if they die too quickly in the game and will be respawned back to play the game again.
A Halloween event is also planned for October 20, 2020, which will end on November 3, 2020. During this event, Crown Rush Squad will be playable by night along with other timed events such as Crown Rush Solo and Dark Haze Squad. Additional details about these modes will be shared by Ubisoft in the coming days. A new Event Card called Infinite Slide has also been added to the Vote on Events feature.
Hyper Scape Season 2 Story: The Mystery of Hyper Scape Continues is officially described as:
In the aftermath of the Blackout, Dr.Tan – now the sole controller of Prisma Dimensions – positions her company as “too big to fail.” Nahari, a journalist, starts investigating the Blackout casualties and is contacted by Amandine Romée, who learned that her brother Simon is in a coma. Working together, the two of them begin deciphering clues when Amandine receives a mysterious message…
During the entirety of Season 2, players will be able to collect new Memory Shards to delve deeper into the story and lore of the game along with Amandine’s story that will be featured in Issue 2 of Hyper Scape comics and will be released during the same season as well. A new Battle Pass with 100 tiers for free and premium cosmetic items waiting to be unlocked. Along with this, players will get a daily reward just for signing in the game as well.
