To get your own horse, go to the Passeri Greenbelt which is south of the Lookout Landing in the Hyrule Field of Central Hyrule. You first need to go to the Lookout Landing, and then head out from the southern gate, continuing south until you reach the Passeri Greenbelt.

This area will be an open grassy field with wild horses that you can find roaming around. Getting up too close is likely to frighten them and scare them off. But you can catch them carefully and sneakily.

How to Catch and Ride a Horse

When we say that you can sneakily catch a horse, we mean that you can actually sneak up behind a horse. To do this carefully, you first need to crouch, and then slowly use the left stick to move slowly and approach the horse. Keeping behind a horse ensures that you stay out of a horse’s sight.
