Hollow Knight: Silksong Bilewater Map Guide

Bilewater is one of the filthiest and trickiest locations in the entire Hollow Knight: Silksong. Its water is toxic, and if you fall in it, it will continue eating your silk for a long time, and nearly every enemy you kill explodes after death. Everything here wants to kill you. Despite its harsh setting, Shakra is present here, and you can find her to purchase the map from her. Bilewater Map Guide – Hollow Knight: Silksong

You will need the double jump ability for this map. To find the Bilewater map in Hollow Knight: Silksong, we will start in the lower section of Whispering Vaults. We have marked the location on the map below:

Starting at this location, drop down the levels and head to the right side of the area.

When you come to the block ahead, climb over it and jump further above on the platform. Continue going up using the wall on the right side. Use the platforms in the middle whenever you need them, but your goal here is to stay up. Use the double jump from the platform in the middle, and you can access it easily.

After reaching the middle platform at the top, there is a hidden path in the top-right corner behind some white curtains where you can jump from the platform. You need to enter this hidden path.

Once you enter this passage, continue right to enter the next room. Inside the next room, use the wall on the right to go up once again and arrive at the platform above.

On the platform, go right, and you come across a switch above you that you can activate using your needle. Jump into it and activate this switch, which will open a path beneath you. Go down this path.

Some gears are spinning beneath, so make sure to avoid hitting them; otherwise, you will take damage. Below the main platform, the smaller gears will go inside the machinery, so wait until they are gone before moving further right. Continue following the path:

At the end, jump down, but quickly start gliding because this whole area is filled with spikes, and there is no way to land. You have to glide around the spikes and progress further in this area. For the first bit, glide to the left side to avoid the spikes, and then for the next section, glide to the right side to avoid the spikes. Once these two sections are done, there will be no more spikes, so just stick to the right wall and keep falling until you enter the next area.

At the end of this fall, there is toxic water, and you will take damage if you stay in it so get ready to spring and jump on the right side and get on a platform to remain safe. You have officially arrived in Bilewater.

Ahead, jump down to enter the next area. At the start of the next area, quickly glide again and move to the left side to land on a solid platform; otherwise, you will land in toxic water again.

Go left, and when this platform ends, glide down and move to the right side again to land on another platform. There are some enemies here, so fight/avoid them.

At the end, fall and start gliding once again while sticking to the left side. Land on the platform below.

Once below, move right, while avoiding toxic water gaps in the path. At the end of this path, a bridge is held by some ropes and a clip. Hit this clip to break it open and move further down in the area.

Once below, head left and jump further down onto another path, and then enter the next room.

In the next area, jump below one platform, and you will see a Fast Travel sign below. Enter the door where the sign is pointing.

Inside, you will need to continue heading right. There is a lot of toxic water and enemies in this area, so watch your step and keep the enemies at bay. Continue heading to the right. When you come across a big chasm, jump and glide while sticking to the right side wall to land on solid ground.

Keep going, and you will come across another Fast Travel sign soon.

Jump towards it and enter the next area. You will find some more toxic water ahead, but you must go up.

Here, you will start seeing the rings on the ground, which means that Shakra is near. Keep going up, avoid the spikes on the right. This next section is a little tricky. Once you land on the platform, you need to glide over to the right section, but not towards the ground; you need to aim at the wall.

Begin your jump and start gliding to the right. Use one of the popping bile globs to jump and reach the wall ahead.

Use this wall to go up, then jump left onto the platform, and then finally to the top platform and enter the next room.

Shakra is standing right ahead. She will sell you Bilewater’s map for a whopping 90 Rosary Beads.
