Google Kickstarts Project Stream – Stream Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Using Chrome

Project Stream is another take by google where you can stream AAA games on your laptop or PC using Google Chrome. The service starts with Assassin’s Creed Odyssey game that launches on October 5, 2018.

Project Stream service is currently running beta testing phase with a limited number of participants initially in US only. Also, the service requires 25 megabits per second as recommended internet speed to stream AAA game to Google Chrome. Streaming a 1080p or 4K content movie is very different than streaming a AAA video game. There are a lot of inputs that require lots of fast responses. Not only download speed but also upload speed is of vital importance when it comes to stream AAA video games.

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey launches on October 5, 2018. Ubisoft recently dropped a launch video of the game featuring plenty of combat and majestic scenery, while also emphasizing the impact of player choice that they will make. Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is just few days away and we can not wait for it.

The two minute trailer shows a lot in a short video, from beautiful landscape, combat abilities for both melee and ranged weapons. The trailer also features a narration for the plot story that players will experience in the gameplay.
