It appears like the next Ghost Recon has been leaked ahead of its reveal and it is named Ghost Recon: Breakpoint. The game was originally slated to be released today but thanks to a leak, we got to know the name of the game, its release date and a picture of its Collector’s Edition much earlier than the planned reveal.
Ubisoft had announced that the next title in the Ghost Recon franchise will be revealed on May 9, 2019, but it appears that their plans have been ruined thanks to a leak. The leaked image of the Collector’s Edition was originally posted on Reddit but it has been removed ever since. However, we know that when something comes online, it never leaves and the image is still online on different platforms even now.

Further details are not known at this point about the game because Ubisoft still has to reveal more information about the game however Rock, Paper, Shotgun reports that according to the leak, Breakpoint will continue from the point where the last DLC mission for Ghost Recon Wildlands ended. Breakpoint is described as a ‘story-driven four-player experience’ which is pretty much the same format as that of Ghost Recon Wildlands.
In the final DLC mission of Ghost Recon Wildlands, you team up with Walker who is a Ghost Team leader but he has lost his squad to enemy drone tech and thinks that CIA is the reason behind this. The leak also states that the new game will be set in Aurora which is a fictional Pacific Island.
According to the leak, Ghost Recon: Breakpoint is slated to release on October 4, 2019. The date will be confirmed today when Ubisoft officially reveals the game. The game will come out on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
