One year after being announced, Gears POP! has made another appearance at the Xbox E3 2019 press conference. This time a trailer was released along with the announcement of pre-orders being open for the game.
Gears POP! is a mash-up between Gears of War and Funko Pop and comes out as a mobile game on IOS and Android devices. The game will feature the iconic Gears of War characters that fans will remember. The game is being developed in partnership with Funko and inspired by the Gears of War vinyl collectible figures for the perfect slice of mobile mayhem,

The trailer shows two enemies from the Gears of War series heading towards the battlefield as they are taken out with some pixel effects. Ultimately the fight ends with one of the three main protagonists, Kait Diaz, fighting against the last enemy. the trailer ends showing Kait using interesting techniques to take the enemy down by using a kitty bomb.
The game will allow you to build your own squad out of Funko POP! versions of the COG and Locust soldiers. There are over 30 of these that you can collect. Take them in the battle against real players or AI opponents as you work your way up the arenas into the top leagues where the best players battle out with each other.
The trailer also reveals that the pre-registration for the title is available now on iOS and Android. There is however no official release date or window confirmed as of yet. But we expect the game to come out in the near future. In the meantime, you can pre-register now on your smartphone and download the game when it comes out.
