Publisher Freedom Games and developers Rolling Glory Jam and Appnormals have announced the release dates for their upcoming titles Hello Goodboy and Terracotta. The non-linear adventure game Hello Goodboy will release on PC and Nintendo Switch on Thursday, May 25, 2023, while the action-puzzle adventure game Terracotta is also releasing on the same date however it will only release on Nintendo Switch. Freedom Games is ending this month on a strong note with two releases on the same day.
In Hello Goodboy, you will travel through the familiar but unknown as you guide Iko, a newly departed boy as he meets fellow souls on their adventures through the heavens. With no memory of what brought him to the world beyond, you will rely on Coco, a strangely familiar dog who will help you solve the mysteries of this new existence.
The only catch here is that your time is limited and there is not much of it left. The game features a fairytale-like atmosphere with a heartwarming story as Iko and Coco make their way through the afterlife. You will befriend and pay it forward to dozens of denizens amongst the heavens including a lost, lonely child, an anxious couple, and a lot more. Each story will give you a unique tale to explore.
In Terracotta, you will rescue the remnants of the Qin dynasty warriors after an ancient curse froze nearly all of them to icy stone. You are the last living Terracotta soldier, and you will channel the power of Qi to master the realms of light and darkness. You will get to switch between Yin (dark) and Yang (light) to solve dual-sided puzzles while avoiding treacherous foes across both versions of the world.
In the Shadowy Yin, you will set up kinetic solutions to problems, and in the sunlit Yang, you will take advantage of new opportunities created on the flip side. Petrus Narwastu, creative director at Rolling Glory Jam commented:

Hello Goodboy is slated for release on PC and Nintendo Switch on May 25, 2023, and it will cost $14.99 while Terracotta will release on Nintendo Switch on May 25, 2023, on Nintendo Switch for $19.99.
