Fallout 76 Players On PS4 Unsurprisingly Low, GTA V Most Played Game

Fallout 76 Nuclear Codes

Sony might have just released the player count for every game on the PS4. The My PS4 Life system gives you the number of people that earned a specific trophy in the game and also tells you a percentage of the total players that earned the trophy. This is enough information to find out the number of players that played a certain game on PS4. If these figures are accurate then unsurprisingly very few people played Fallout 76 and GTA V is the most played game on PS4.

According to these numbers, the most played games were GTA V, FIFA, Minecraft and Rocket league. Other interesting figures are as follows:

  • Black Ops 4 – 9 million
  • Red Dead Redemption 2 – 6 million
  • Detroit: Become Human – 2.4 million
  • Mass Effect Andromeda – 2.2 million
  • Fallout 76 – 400K

While some of these figures are great, there are others that developers do not want people to know about. I am sure that Bethesda does not want the general public to know that only 400k players actually played Fallout 76 on PS4. It is worth noting that these are not sales figures but player counts. It is possible that there are players that have bought the game but have not played the game yet.

A while ago, the number of God of War players were also calculated using this method when the developer revealed the number of players that achieved the Platinum trophy. It will be interesting to see what developers have to say now that this information is out there.

We do not know how current this data is. It is possible that recently released games like Fallout 76 are behind because the data has not been updated yet. Now that this data is out there, we should find out soon enough. We will keep you updated regarding the matter, so stay tuned for more information.

Let us know what you think about Fallout 76 performing poorly on PS4 and GTA V being the most played game on the platform.
