Evil Within 2 On PC To Get New Difficulty and Cheats – In a Free Update

Evil Within 2 release October 13, 2017 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC Steam platform. The game since then has sold very well across all three platforms. If you are on Bethesda.net account while in-game, you will see a free download that will add nightmare difficulty (Akumu) and three cheat codes, all completely for free.

The three cheat codes are for invincibility, one-shot kills and infinite stamina. The new nightmare difficulty along with the cheat codes will surely provide a challenging experience for die hard Evil Within fans of the community.

Currently, Bethesda has not announced officially three cheat codes and nightmare difficulty. However, it is only accessible on PC via Bethesda.net account. The PlayStation 4 and Xbox One version of Evil Within 2 does not have the free update as of yet. It will get announced later eventually.

This is not the first time developer Tango Gameworks have brought free content for Evil Within community. Earlier this year in February, developers released an update for Evil Within 2 that gives an access to play the game in first person shooter mode.

Fans initially found a workaround and unlocked fps mode on Evil Within 2. The fps mode was officially announced after that.

Evil Within 2 is sequel to the first game that is set three years after the story of the first game. You get to play with Sebastian Castellanos, the same protagonist of the first game.

Evil Within 2 was a smashing hit success and in its first week of sale, a total of 42,941 copies on PlayStation 4 were sold in Japan. This placed the game at number three on all format sales chart.

The game was also nominated for ‘Best Action Game’ in PC Gamers 2017 Game of the Year Awards.
