Rastakhan’s Rumble

The third and final expansion for Blizzard’s popular card game Hearthstone is called Rastakhan’s Rumble and it is due to launch December 2018. The last expansion of the game focuses on World of Warcraft’s Troll tribe and it is bringing them to Hearthstone as well. The new expansion is bringing all new cards to the game along with a new keyword.

The total number of expected new cards is 135 while the new keyword will reward players for dealing greater amounts of damage to enemy minions targeted by it. The expansion will also bring many other changes and additions to the game including a totally new single-player adventure.

We have curated this article in which we have collected all the information about the upcoming Hearthstone Rastakhan’s Rumble expansion. Let’s start with watching the trailer below.

New Overkill Keyword

A new keyword Overkill is making its way to Hearthstone in the new DLC as well. With this keyword, players will be rewarded as they deal greater amounts of damage to a target enemy minion. This damage value must be greater than the amount actually needed to kill the enemy minion to trigger the bonus.

Each card in the game will have a unique Overkill bonus when they achieve Overkill so it makes an interesting addition to the game. If Overkill is achieved, the Warrior can swing the weapon on the same turn again. This will lead to some new finishing moves and combos with the all new set of cards coming with the expansion.

New Cards

The upcoming expansion is bringing with it 135 new cards to the table of Hearthstone. Each class in the game will get a pair of new Legendary cards and eight exclusive cards. The remaining cards will go to the neutral pool which can be used by any class in any deck as they won’t have any special requirements.

A new special Legendary card will be called ‘Loa’ minion which is a great card to use in late-game. These work specifically well with their class’s Spirit cards. They come with special passive bonus along with stealth capabilities and have low health and cannot attack other cards.

New Single Player Additions

Players who want to play single player will not be disappointed with the upcoming Rastakhan’s Rumble expansion because it will bring a brand new single player experience for them. Although it will arrive later, it will be worth the wait. The roguelike random encounters will be added back to the game. Players will be able to choose a champion and use them to battle for their team’s shrine.

It will be able to defeat the enemy AI’s units while defending their shrine from enemy’s. Player’s character will be accompanied with team’s own unique Shrine minion. Players will be able to build their decks as they defeat more and more bosses in the single player experience of the expansion.

Release Date

Rastakhan’s Rumble is set to launch on December 4, 2018 while the single player content will be launched later on December 13, 2018.
