Elgato Announces Its First Studio Chair for Creators, Professionals and Anyone Else Who Loves Sitting at their Desk All Day Long

Elgato Embrace

Elgato, now a Corsair brand, has announced its first-ever studio chair called Embrace, which is built from the ground up for creators, professionals, and everyone who loves sitting all day long. Embrace is aimed at people who are looking for a chair that provides long-lasting support for a variety of situations. Favoring posture over posturing, Embrace offers top-tier features that enhance comfort beyond others in the same class, and it does so without being too flashy. Looking at its design, you can easily see that Elgato has gone for sustenance over style.

Embrace features a breathable mesh backrest and luxe cushioning to the waterfall seat edge and precision-adjustable frame. It is engineered to fit a wide range of body types as it adapts to individual users’ ergonomic needs with independent controls for seat height and depth, lumbar support, and a five-step recline with a tilt-locking mechanism normally seen on specialist ergonomic chairs. Additional features include 4D armrests, a sculpted headrest, and a single logo on the back to keep things simple and on point.

Due to its functional design and simple aesthetics, Embrace is great for use in a production studio, editing bay, office, or dual-purpose living space. It seamlessly blends into any sort of workspace or casual living room. Elgato has also ensured that the assembly bit is not complicated, and out of the box, you can assemble the chair in minutes without the need for any sort of heavy lifting or complicated steps. It is built to complement your workspace, not dominate it. Despite its simple aesthetics, Embrace is made to last.

It features high-tensile mesh, which resists stretching over time, molded foam retains shape and resilience, while all moving parts, such as the pneumatic gas cylinder and castors, are engineered for smooth operation and adjustment. With its first studio chair, Elgato claims that it is making an entrance into studio furniture, addressing a long gap in the market. Their main goal with Embrace is to deliver a high-end chair, but more attainable. Jeff Stegner, Product Manager at Elgato, comments:

With Embrace, we set out to deliver the type of ergonomic performance usually reserved for high-end chairs that professionals have relied on for years. What makes Embrace different is how we’ve brought those features down to a more accessible price point. It’s part of our broader effort to democratize the tools needed in content creation for users at all levels, while still offering the premium experience people associate with Elgato.

Embrace will arrive this holiday season, and if you are interested in buying it, you can sign up for notifications on Elgato’s official website. Pricing and other details will be revealed closer to its launch.
