FromSoftware’s Elden Ring Trailer Shown at Xbox E3 2019

George RR Martin consulted game Elden Ring, which is being developed by FromSoftware, has just got its announcement trailer shown at the Xbox E3 2019 Briefing. The game will be released on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.

There were many rumors that were flying around since the past month that George RR Martin is consulting for the development of a new game. It was just recently confirmed that the Japanese gaming studio FromSoftware had partnered with Martin to create a brand new game.

Last month, Martin had said in a blog post on his official website that he has “consulted on a video game out of Japan.” He also discussed his projects following the end of the show, including a producer credit on eight upcoming TV shows, short film adaptations, and involvement on some feature-length projects.

While leaks had already spoilt the surprise of the game, Elden Ring’s trailer was still something that was highly anticipated. The trailer shows the beautiful cinematic work, however, there was no gameplay video shown.

A release date for the game was not provided, however, we can confirm that the game would be releasing for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.

FromSoftware is famously known for titles like the Dark Souls series, Bloodborne, the recent hit Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice. Elden Ring is now going to be the first game in consultation with Martin, that will not be related to Game of Thrones. Martin who is not only known for the TV show but also is the author of A Song of Ice and Fire books, which Game of Thrones is based on.
