Violence is not an option when you are a 6-year-old kid in El Hijo A Wild West Tale, which is a new strategy adventure that is coming to Google Stadia. Developer HandyGames had announced this upcoming title last month in June revealing a small teaser video as well.
El Hijo A Wild West Tale is the story of an adventurous child in search of his mother. As violence is out of the question from a little kid, you do have slingshots, stones, and tricky toys to use against the enemies. This way you can distract and disarm enemies and make your way through the dark monastery corners, parched deserts, and lawless boomtowns while you discover a world full of suspicious monks, dangerous bandits, and mischievous desperadoes.

The game was previously awarded as the Best Indie Game back at Gamescom 2019. Following the achievement, the developers have been busy polishing the title, adding upgrades, and redesigning the core elements of the game.
The story of the game begins when a farmer and her son are attacked by bandits who raze their farm to the ground. The mother decides to leave “El Hijo” at a secluded monastery to protect him. However, “El Hijo” decides that the monastic life is not for him and decides to escape. Since the title is non-violent, it features mischievous, playfulness of a young child instead.
