EA is Bringing EA Access to PS4 This Summer

Sony PS4 Pro

EA has announced that it is bringing its premium EA Access subscription service to PS4 this summer. This service was earlier available only on Xbox One but now EA is expanding the platforms for the service and starting in July, PS4 players will be able to use the service on their console.

EA Access will bring all of its features to Sony’s flagship console. Players who subscribe to EA Access on their PS4 will be able to get early access to all upcoming EA titles. Along with this, they will be able to play a wide variety of amazing EA titles included in the service. Games included in the service are sports titles such as Madden, NHL, NBA and other mainstream titles such as Battlefield 1, The Sims 4, Burnout Paradise Remastered and many more.

The service is however more flexible on Xbox One because it offers some Xbox 360 titles with backward-compatibility as well. At this point, EA did not share the complete list of titles coming to PS4 and whether PS3 titles will be included for the PS4 subscription. However, we can be sure that the service will include at least all next-gen titles which are currently available on Xbox One.

PS4 players will also be able to utilize the Play First Trials with the service. With this feature, they will be able to play up to 10 hours of new games. Apart from this, they will be able to purchase all digital games from EA at a flat 10% discount. This includes DLC, expansions and in-game items.

Pricing will be the same on PS4 as that of Xbox One. If you opt for the monthly payments, each month will cost you $5 but if you opt for the yearly subscription, it will cost you $30 which is a great price for the value the service offers in terms of games, early access and discounted prices on all digital purchases.

EA Access will arrive on PS4 in July. EA Access is already out on Xbox One and on PC as Origin Access.
