Publisher Thunderful along with developer Team Meat and Headup have announced the release of the free demo of Dr. Fetus’ Mean Meat Machine. The free demo will allow players to get their first hands-on the upcoming title in the Super Meat Boy universe. The free demo is now available on PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and GOG.com. To celebrate the release of the free demo of the upcoming title, Thunderful has also released an opening cinematic for the game that you can check out below:

As you can see in the cinematic above, the nefarious Dr. Fetus is preparing his ruthless test chambers where he will try to create his Super Meat Boy clones. The trailer is purely cinematic and shows Dr. Fetus trying his best to work through his lab as he sets it up. Of course, all things do not go as planned and there are a few nags here and there but ultimately, he manages to set everything right. The 1.5-minute cinematic will be played at the start of Dr. Fetus’ Mean Meat Machine when it launches and you can try it out in the free demo right now as well.

Apart from the cinematic opening and the demo release of Dr. Fetus’ Mean Meat Machine, Thunderful has also announced a sale on the entire franchise of Super Meat Boy. As part of the sale, Super Meat Boy and Super Meat Boy Forever and their DLCs are currently 90% off on Steam.
