Rockstar Games’ Red dead Redemption 2 is coming out this year and is expected to be a smash hit, with ridiculous amount of sales numbers as well. Red Dead Redemption has been a console game and with so is the case with its upcoming second title in the series, while PC users were always kept in the dark with no PC support for the game.
Devolver Digital, an indie game publisher has shown interest in making the plea of the PC gamers somewhat into a reality. Shortly after the announcement of Red Dead Redemption by Rockstar Games, Devolver digital offered its services to port the game to pc in a series of hilarious tweets.
“Hello, we’d like to publish your new cowboy game on PC,”

“We’re based out of Texas so we are familiar with horses and chewing tobacco. Also, we own a gun. That last part isn’t threat just that knowing about guns seems a plus for this game.” Also adding, “Nobody has to know, we can keep this a secret from TakeTwo. We know a person at Steam and can set you up with PC dev kits. Like this tweet if you want to talk more.” And a final note, saying, “Anyhoo, DMs are open.”
Before anyone gets excited, this is just a casual offer that Devolver has made to Rockstar, and it is highly unlikely they will accept. However, never say never as Grand theft Auto was too a console game for a long time until Rockstar announced a PC port with a number of enhancements, and it has been a best seller ever since. So the idea of Red Dead Redemption coming to PC is not as farfetched as it may seem.
Rockstar is also focused on getting the game out on time as it had already been delayed for a whole year. So it is understandable that Rockstar is focusing on a title that is being highly anticipated by fans worldwide and is expected to dominate the coming holiday season.
