Destiny 2 Solstice of Heroes Event To Bring New Rewards and Aerial Zone

Destiny 2 Solstice of Heroes

Bungie is all set to begin the Destiny 2 Solstice of Heroes event, which will bring in new rewards and an Aerial Zone. The event is set to start next week on July 30 and in preparation for the Shadowkeep expansion that is planned for September.

The event will run for almost a month and will end on August 27. Players who participate in the Solstice of Heroes event will get to have a set of upgradeable Solstice Armor, a new European Aerial Zone, two more Triumphs for the Year 2 Moments of Triumph Seal, and a lot of cosmetic items that can be bought with Silver and Bright dust.

Bungie is also going to feature new element each day which will rotate through Void, Arc, and Solar. Players who get kills with their elemental attack will be rewarded with the Elemental Orbs that can be used to upgrade your armor pieces. When you pick up 30 Elemental Orbs, players will get a buff based on the element rotation of that day.

Solar buff will allow guardians to burn nearby enemies. Void will allow Guardians to turn invisible when crouching, and grant them Truesight with increased ability regeneration. Finally, Arc will increase the movement speed of the guardian and also increase melee damage. The buffs will be removed after a short period of time, or if the player dies.

The new European Aerial Zone is a completely new area where players will go to take on the Cabal, Fallen Enemies, and Hive. You can activate these activities form the Tower of the director. In the zone, you will have to defeat several mini-bosses before the timer runs out. Once you do that, a boss will appear that you have to defeat. After defeating the boss, you can go in search of treasure chests. Bungie adds that the more mini-bosses you defeat, the better the treasure is waiting for you.
