A new chapter is being brought in by developer Behaviour Interactive and it is called Dead by Daylight: Darkness Among Us. The update is coming next week on 11 December, and will include a new map, a killer and survivor.
This chapter is unique in the way that the killer is human and will not easy to differentiate from other human survivors. Players will begin the round by encountering a group of four friends that have become the killers. The killers are called The Legion and they draw their powers from the insane freedom of not abiding to any rules but of their own.
Players however can choose to embody one of the agile teenager who is able to catch their victims off guard with their special power called Feral Frenzy.
The new survivor is Jeff Johansen, an artist with a heart of gold. He has a dark past but led a quiet, simple life until his father passed, leaving things to sort out. The action takes place in Ormond, Canada, once a small, remote ski town with idyllic slopes, turned obsolete. Mount Ormond is now a soulful, deforested graveyard where gangs and teenagers go looking for trouble. Some people believe that the mountain hides a bottomless hole from where no one can return…
The new chapter in Darkness Among Us will be available on 11 December for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Pc through Steam.

Behaviour Interactive also announced their plans of having dedicated servers for Dead by Daylight soon, the plan is to migrate the game from its current peer-to-peer structure by the end of Summer 2019.
