Darksiders 3 difficulty will see some changes in patch 1.04. The story is fascinating but the experience is brutal for many players. Even if you invest souls to upgrade your health, the game difficulty still punishes you the most.
Darksiders 3 patch 1.04 is released now and it tones down the difficulty in the game. Many players found the story mode difficulty to be challenging and fun, while others find it punishing. Regardless, Gunfire Games have noticed the players feedback and have rolled out the update to ease up things in game.
Patch 1.04 also fixes minor bugs on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC version of the game. The update also fixes a bug on PC version of the game which caused game crash.

PlayStation 4 and Xbox One
- Updated Story mode to be more forgiving
- Modified hit indicators for better readability
- Gluttony fight issues fixed
- Improved Loading Times
- Increased Havoc Generation on Obscurus Enhancement
- Forced respawn functionality added
- Increased Health & Damage amounts on Fortifier Enhancement
- The invulnerability windows for dodging have been made better and easier across all difficulties.
PC Version
- added FOV scaling to keep correct FOV on 21:9 monitors
- Crash issues fixed
PC version of Darksiders 3 had similar fixes and few new additions like the ones console versions received, except the two issues which are mentioned above.
Darksiders 3 released November 27 2018 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC Steam platform. The game is direct sequel to first two games and story continues in the third installment.
Darksiders 3 is developed by Gunfire Games and published by THQ Nordic. The third part in the installment took longer than expected, mainly due to bankruptcy events that happened couple of years ago with THQ Nordic.

I really enjoy the game and the difficulty is not the issue. It’s the camera. It sux a$$. DS1 and DS2 each had the flaws but you were able to overcome them by playing and learning enemy moves. How can you expect to get better if you can’t get a good view with your camera. Also the use of the items are not as fluid as the other 2 games which in turn leaves you with a lot of deaths.
