Indie developer I Knew It! – Games has officially revealed its brand-new cozy adventure game Greta Sees Ghosts!. Greta Sees Ghosts! is a heartfelt puzzle where you will experience the journey of a lighthouse keeper who must help the souls of dead people to find peace and move on from this world. It comes from the two co-founders of Studio Fizbin, who are known for working on Minute of Islands.

While Greta is an average, run-of-the-mill lighthouse keeper but she can see ghosts. You will explore the stormy northern sea islands and meet many quirky ghosts with their unique requests, stories, and shape-based puzzles to solve. With each encounter, you will collect new spirit friends in a magical oil lamp. You will walk, talk, and befriend these ghostly hitchhikers as you learn more about their lives, deaths, and mild delusions. During these encounters, you may learn something about Greta’s past.
According to the game’s Steam page, key features of Greta Sees Ghosts! include:
- Hand-Drawn Islands & Character Exploration – Navigate a richly illustrated open world filled with shape-based puzzles, unlock new islands to explore, and juggle multiple lamps, each holding its own ghostly hitchhiker.
- Narrative Puzzles – Solve shape-based puzzles tightly woven into each character’s story — meaningful, satisfying, and never just for the sake of it.
- Quirky Encounters – Meet an unforgettable cast of characters with wishes, regrets, and strange little habits. Witty, playful, and just a bit morbid — conversations that would make Death chuckle.
- A Growing World of Ghostly Errands – Unlock new islands as you progress and juggle multiple quests by switching between your magical oil lamps.
Greta Sees Ghosts! is slated for release on PC via Steam in Q1 2026. A free demo is currently available on Steam, and you can try it out right now. Additional details about the game will be revealed later.
