Publisher Feral Interactive has officially announced that the Company of Heroes Online Multiplayer is now available on Nintendo Switch. The online multiplayer update for Company of Heroes Collection on the Nintendo Switch comes with full crossplay support with iOS and Android. Company of Heroes is Relic Entertainment’s iconic RTS title, and it was previously released as a single-player-only game on Nintendo Switch, but with the recent update, online multiplayer is now live in the game as well.

The new update brings an Online Skirmish mode to Nintendo Switch, where any Nintendo Switch Online subscriber can now take the fight to real-world enemies across the world. It supports battles with up to four players on a single map. In the battle of Normandy, you will have access to the US Army and the British Army representing the Allies, and on the other side, you will have the German Wehrmacht and German Panzer Elite representing the Axis forces. Each faction offers a unique unit roster and abilities that can shape the entire battlefield in their favor if used correctly.

With the new update, the Company of Heroes is now the complete version of the game, which was previously available on PC and other platforms. The Nintendo Switch version is also cross-play compatible with iOS and Android players, so you can always expect some players in its online mode. Feral Interactive’s own Calico matchmaking service is powering the crossplay between the mobile platforms.

Company of Heroes Collection is now available on Nintendo Switch and the Apple App Store. The base game, Company of Heroes, is available on the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store. Both expansion packs, Opposing Fronts and Tales of Valor, are available as in-game purchases, and they are required for online play to ensure that content remains the same between all playing teams.
