Silencers are rare collectibles in Code Violet that actually affect how you play. Once you pick one up, it can be attached to the weapon to reduce the sound made when firing. This makes it easier to fight or move around without pulling nearby dinosaurs toward you. Because of how useful they are, Silencers are usually hidden in locked lockers or placed in areas that require extra effort to reach. This Code Violet Silencer Locations Guide will show you where each Silencer is found and how to reach it.
Silencer Locations Guide – Code Violet
There are only three Silencers in the entire game, and finding your first one will unlock a Suppressed Trophy for discovering a Suppressor.
Silencer #1 – Pistol
The first Silencer can be found early in the Preservation Facility and is designed for the Pistol. It is hidden inside the Security room.
After the scene in this room ends, check the body nearby to collect a Power Core. Then inspect the lockers. One locker contains basic medical items such as Antidote and Antiseptic, but the other is secured with a combination lock. Enter the code D-U-C-K to open it. Inside the locker, you will find pistol ammo along with the Pistol Silencer. Picking this up will also award you the Suppressor Trophy if it is your first Silencer.
Silencer #2 – Assault Rifle
The second Silencer is located in the Communications Facility and can be equipped on the Assault Rifle.
While exploring the Server Room, look for a locker protected by a combination lock. Input the code F-I-S-H to unlock it. Inside, you will find the Assault Rifle Silencer along with additional ammo.
Silencer #3 – Submachine Gun
The final Silencer is found much later in the Bioengineering Lab and requires a few extra steps before you can reach it.
As you progress through the lab, you will arrive at a central hub room with four doors leading to different areas. These four areas are: Lobby, Excavation Data Room, West Hydro Lift, and Lornian Stratum Site.
From here, first head into the Lornian Stratum Site. Make sure to activate your Black Light, as invisible lasers line the hallway ahead. The passage opens into a large square room with an upper walkway and a lower section filled with eggs. Move down into the egg-filled area and attack the eggs to break them open. One of the eggs in the back-right corner contains the Data Room Key, along with 1000 Mites.
Once you have collected the key, return to the central hub room. From there, go to the Lobby, then backtrack to the start of the Bioengineering Lab. You can now fully explore the Admin Offices near the goat enclosure by using the Data Key. Inside the left office, you will find some Mites, while the right office contains a Datapad, a Submachine Gun with ammo, and a Frag Grenade.
Continue through to the next set of offices. The room on the right holds crafting materials like Red Serpentine and Lead and 200 Mites, while the door on the left can now be unlocked using the Data Room Key. Inside this final office, you will find the Silencer for the Submachine Gun, along with some extra resources such as Red Serpentine, 500 Mites, and a Medkit.
