Castlevania Producer Adi Shankar Says Devil May Cry Will Join the Band in Multiverse

Castlevania animated series producer Adi Shankar in an interview with IGN mentioned that Devil May Cry will join Castlevania in a multiverse. Castlevania has recently got green light for season 3 and Adi Shankar is on spree of making it a hit animated show.

In an interview with IGN, Adi Shankar mentioned that he has acquired the rights of Devil May Cry animated series. He then mentioned that Devil May Cry will join Castlevania in what he termed it as a ‘bootleg multiverse’.

He did not detail any further news on availability of show. It is unclear at this point if Devil May Cry and Castlevania show will come to NETFLIX or any other service.

Since Castlevania animated series is available at NETFLIX and Adi Shankar is to bring Devil May Cry characters into the universe, our lucky guess is that Dante, Vergil, Trish and many others will come to NETFLIX.

Adi Shankar did not reveal any plot or story timeline of this multiverse of Devil May Cry and Castlevania. However, he said he has ‘acquired DMC rights himself so the jabronis in Hollywood don’t f*** this one up too’.

Adi Shankar’s Devil May Cry announcement comes after his success with Castlevania season 01 and 02. He has done fabulous job in the creation of Castlevania animated series. More so, just after the release of his second season, he received green light to produce season 03 for Castlevania.

We have full faith on whatever bootleg multiverse means for Adi Shankar, he will do justice to both Devil May Cry and Castlevania animated series.

Time will tell, how he pans out stories of both into one universe. For now, we are highly excited to know abut animated series of Devil May Cry. Are you excited? Let us know more your thoughts in comments section below.
