Konami Announces Full Lineup of Games in Castlevania Anniversary Collection

Konami has revealed the final list of games that will be joining more in its upcoming Castlevania Anniversary Collection. The collection is set to release next month on May 16 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC.

The collection will feature games of the 8 bit and 16 bit era. Previously announced games included Castlevania (NES), Castlevania III: Dracula’s Curse (NES), Castlevania II: Belmont’s Revenge (Game Boy), and Super Castlevania IV (SNES).

Now the new games that have completed the collection are  Castlevania The Adventure (Game Boy), Castlevania 2: Simon’s Quest (NES), Castlevania Bloodlines (Sega Genesis), and Kid Dracula (Famicom). Kid Dracula was only released on Famicom in Japan, so it is a welcome game in the list.

The Castlevania Anniversary Collection is one such compilation that Konami is busy making. All this is because Konami is celebrating its 50th anniversary. Meanwhile, the studio also released a collection of arcade games yesterday, while a Contra Collection will be coming out in the early summer of this year, 2019.

If you are interested in getting the Castlevania Anniversary Collection, it will be coming out next month on May 16 and will cost you $19.99. The Collection is available for the PlayStation4, Xbox One, PC and Nintendo Switch.

Here is a list of all the classic Castlevania games you will be getting in the anniversary collection:

  • Castlevania
  • Castlevania II: Simon’s Quest
  • Castlevania III: Dracula’s Curse
  • Super Castlevania IV
  • Castlevania: The Adventure
  • Castlevania II: Belmont’s Revenge
  • Castlevania Bloodlines
  • Kid Dracula

It also comes with a Bonus Book which contains extras such as interview with Adi Shankar who is one of the producers of the Castlevania animated series.
