Activision Reports Call of Duty Warzone Hits 50 Million Players in a Month

Call of Duty Warzone 50 Million

Activision has reported that their latest battle royale game, Call of Duty Warzone has crossed 50 million players a month after launch. The game now joins the list of fastest-growing titles that are free to play.

The previous milestone where the game hit 30 million players was already a positive trajectory for the game, so hitting the new number was expected to say the least. The milestone was also celebrated by the game’s official Twitter account, thanking fans for the ever-growing community.

Call of Duty Warzone is not one of the best battle royale games right now, but it is also completely free to play on consoles and PC. This is also a major factor in the growing popularity of Warzone. The free-to-play standalone game comes with its battle royale mode and a blood Money mode (previously known as Plunder) which pits in players in a large map to loot money and come out as the top earning team.

Call od Duty Modern Warfare has also recently begun its Season 3, which came in with tons of new content for both the paid game and Warzone. Season 3 saw the addition of new weapons, operators, skins, and the Talsik Backlot map. There is also a new battle pass that you can purchase to unlock more items as rewards.

The battle pass contains Alex as the unlockable operator, along with vehicle skins and weapon blueprints. The Battle Pass offers 100 tier-based, in-game rewards that unlock with gameplay. By playing the game’s Multiplayer, Special Ops, and Warzone modes, you can progress in the Battle Pass. In addition, you can gain more experience points by getting kills and assists, completing objectives, deploying Killstreaks, and other in-match actions. Any earned XP will count towards your Battle Pass progression.
