How to Unlock Link and Zelda
To find either of your characters, you need to go to the Kakariko Village that will be in the South East or North West side corner of the map. You should know that the map is randomized with the start of each playing session. This means that you will have to search for Kakariko Village.
Once you are at the Kakariko Village, you will find the character you haven’t chosen sleeping in a bed. Nearby, you can talk to an old man who says that you need to bring Hibiscus Potion for the character to wake up.
Where to Find Hibiscus Potion
In order to find the Hibiscus Potion, you need to find the entrance to a hidden dungeon or the Kakariko Village Crypt. Look for a graveyard northeast from where the old man is. Inside the graveyard will be a large grave in the center that can be pushed to reveal the entrance to the dungeon.
Inside the Crypt you will encounter a boss fight. This enemy will be a Dark or Shadow Link. You will now find the Hibiscus Potion once Shadow Link is defeated. Now you need to head back to your sleeping character to wake them up and unlock them as another playable character in the game.
