Bloodborne 2 Hints Found in Easter Eggs of FromSoftware’s Deracine

Bloodborne 2

Deracine is a PlayStaion VR game developed by FromSoftware’s. The game has released recently in this week and there are a significant amount of clues left in the ester eggs of the game that pinpoint in direction of a possible Bloodborne 2 game.

In Deracine, players get to embark on a mystery adventure to visit and explore a boarding school. The mystery game contains a particular ester egg that hints at possible Bloodborne sequel.

The game has a doll that players can interact in-game. For one, the doll performs gestures very much similar to the actions of doll from Bloodborne. Fans of the game would be aware about the doll and her gestures in the Bloodborne.

Furthermore, the item description of doll makes things interesting. The description says, ‘A doll of the stone girl Fiona who appears in the unfinished tale. When a person has a bad dream, Fiona appears and helps them flee‘.

The mention of unfinished tale and dream alone gives players a hint that the doll is actually talking about the tale narrated in Bloodborne, which obviously is unfinished.

Another item that also pinpoints at Bloodborne 2 is the statue of what the game refers to as a Seafaring Sage. It has design almost similar and inspired from Bloodborne’s art style of Lovercraftian art. The dsciption on it reads, ‘A statue of a seafaring sage that appears in an unfinished tale. It is said to appear in bad dreams, to watch over those who attempt to leave’.

Other than these two items, ResetEra found out a book item in Deracine that is titled as Blood and Bones.

All these in-game items and easter eggs are clearly telling that FromSoftware have not put them in Deracine without no purpose and that this could all mean that the developer is preparing players of the community for a Bloodborne sequel.
