Indie developer Metric Empire has revealed the latest trailer for its upcoming sci-fi FPS roguelite Battle Shapers which features intense new gameplay. The trailer was showcased at the Guerilla Collective Showcase 2023, and it was narrated by community manager Syd Lazarus as she details the playthrough through beautiful, never-before-seen footage and further expands on the game’s progression. Battle Shapers is a fast-paced roguelite first-person shooter that pits you against an army of corrupt robots and their powerful overlords that have taken over your city. You step into the game as Ada, a spirited android reactivated for a final mission, and you must rise to reclaim the future of her city, New Elysium. You will have a vast arsenal of futuristic weapons, abilities, and game-changing powers stolen from the Overlord themselves and you will shoot and smash your way through their trap-ridden towers.
