Baldur’s Gate 3 Gets a Short Teaser Ahead of Gameplay Announcements

Larian Studios has released a short Baldur’s Gate 3 gameplay teaser on twitter, while also announcing that the studio will be revealing a lot more about the game next month on the Guerilla Collective Showcase event on June 6.

Although the teaser is quite short and is only 40 seconds long, it gives us a brief look into beautiful new areas and many characters in action who can be seen casting all sorts of magic spells.

Baldur’s Gate 3 is still in development but is planned to enter Early Access sometime this year. We might be getting some release date information next month during the Guerilla Collective showcase event, along with many gameplay details.

We know you’ve all been waiting, so let’s get ready to tell some stories together. Baldur’s Gate 3 news will be dropping throughout the month of June, starting June 6 on the #GuerrillaCollective Showcase. What does it all mean? Let’s find out.

On the topic of gameplay, Larian Studios revealed the first gameplay video in late February of this year, featuring many new game mechanics. One of the new mechanics introduced in Baldur’s Gate 3 is that the developer has decided to opt for their traditional turn-based combat instead of the turn-based combat that featured pausing the time which was present in the first two Baldur’s Gate games.

The addition of this new combat mechanic makes the game really good as you will be able to see in the trailer below

All eyes will now be on the showcase event set for next weekend, as we get additional details about Baldur’s Gate 3.  According to the game’s twitter account, the whole month of June will be filled with details about the game, which means that there are plenty of details to be shared.
