BAFTA Games Awards 2021

BAFTA Games Awards 2021 were held last night and many of the best games of 2020 took several awards home. Hades, one of my personal favorites from 2020, won the award for Best Game of 2020, and many other great titles of 2020 such as Ghost of Tsushima, The Last of Us: Part 2 and many other titles scored big during the event as well.

Hades took several awards from last night and other titles who took home a BAFTA award included Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Sackboy: A Big Adventure, Laura Bailey from The Last of Us: Part 2, and Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales. If you missed the event last night, we have all of the categories and their respective winners listed down for you.

  • Best Game – Hades
  • British Game – Sackboy: A Big Adventure
  • Animation – The Last of Us Part 2
  • Artistic Achievement – Hades
  • Audio Achievement – Ghost of Tsushima
  • Debut Game – Carrion
  • Evolving Game – Sea of Thieves
  • Family Game – Sackboy: A Big Adventure
  • Game Beyond Entertainment – Animal Crossing: New Horizons
  • Game Design – Hades
  • Multiplayer Game – Animal Crossing: New Horizons
  • Music – Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales
  • Narrative – Hades
  • Original Property – Kentucky Route Zero: TV Edition
  • Performer in a Leading Role – Laura Bailey as Abby in The Last of Us Part 2
  • Performer in a Supporting Role – Logan Cunningham as Hades, Achilles, Poseidon, Asterius, Charon, and the Storyteller in Hades
  • EE Game of the Year (Voted by the Public) – The Last of Us Part 2

These are all of the winners from this year’s BAFTA Games Awards. Some of the games that won single awards were nominated for multiple categories, for example, The Last of Us: Part 2 was nominated for over 13 categories however it ended up winning BAFTA for Animation and Performer in a Leading Role.
