Assetto Corsa Competizione Releasing on May 29, Leaving Early Access

Assetto Corsa Competizione

505 Games and KUNOS Simulazioni have announced that Assetto Corsa Competizione is releasing on PC via Steam on May 29, 2019. The game is currently in Early Access on Steam and the title is nearly ready for a complete release. Players will be able to race in the full-release version of the official Blancpain GT racer at the end of next month.

The full version will be version 1.0 and it will have a lot of features that the current Early Access build is missing. It will have a different number of Multiplayer and single-player modes. The game will feature an advanced ranking system which will rank a player based on their individual performance and driving behavior with other racers on the track.

This will allow better players to race with each other and casual players to team up together in the races. This will also ensure fair play in online races where most of the players suffer most because of poor matchmaking in games like Forza Motorsport 7. The game will ship with Career Championship and Free Play modes allowing players a greater variety of modes to jump in.

The Career mode in Assetto Corsa Competizione is totally revamped now and it has been designed in collaboration with Lamborghini Squadra Corse and the official driver Mirko Bortolotti who was Blancpain GT Series champion back in 2017. The Career will gradually introduce players to tougher disciplines of racing as in the beginning they will train and then move on to making their own racing team.

Assetto Corsa Competizione will also feature realistic weather conditions to enhance the gameplay and make it more challenging for the racers. Different weather conditions will drastically change the track conditions and the vehicle handling giving players increased challenge. Players will need to adapt to changing track conditions if they want to claim the top spot.

The tracks in the game are hyper-realistic thanks to LaserScan technology. Each track is produced with utmost accuracy giving players one of the most authentic track experience in a video game. Every curb and detail of each track replicates the real-life counterpart giving players one of the best and authentic racing sim experience ever.

The game has been developed in Unreal Engine 4 and it guarantees the best audio and visual experience. The game features photorealistic rendering and weather conditions and also an accurate representation of the different weather conditions in the game as well as vehicle designs. A multi-channel audio sampling of real GT cars will ensure that you hear the roar of every last piston in your vehicle’s engine.

Assetto Corsa Competizione is releasing exclusively on PC on May 29 via Steam.
