Epic Game Store is giving away a free copy of Assassin’s Creed Syndicate this week. The game will be available on Thursday, 20th of February and all Epic Game Store users will be able to download and play it for free.
Assassin’s Creed Syndicate comes along with a card battle game called Faeria, which will also be free this week. You can claim both the games form the Epic Game Store, but you can only have it on Thursday.
On the other hand, you still have a couple more days to claim the current free games this week on EGS, which include Aztez and Kingdom Come: Deliverance. If you have never claimed a game from EGS before, all you have to do is create an account and then claim the games from the store page. The games will then remain in your library forever.
If you haven’t played Assassin’s Creed Syndicate, the game is set in London where you get to play as two protagonists, Jacob and Evie Frye. These characters are twins that are on the quest to find the Templar Order.
The title is a classic Assassin’s Creed game before Ubisoft turned it into a full-fledged RPG. This was a change we saw in the Origins and Odyssey titles of the franchise.
On the other hand, Faeria is a card game that according to the game page is a unique living board. The game page also adds that it is the only card game where you can gain all the 300 cards in less than 50 hours. It is a strategy game where you have to build decks in the shape of maps that you are battling. This includes building forests or filling lakes. It also has a versus mode called Pandora where you either play against an AI or another player online.
