Developer and publisher OrionGames has announced that the Kickstarter campaign of its upcoming open-world hack ‘n slash action RPG Arto is now live. Arto provides you with an open world where exploration is rewarding as you take part in fast-paced combat while experiencing the game’s environmental storytelling. Arto features six different art styles and you will get to experience them as you paint a new path in a world that has been stripped of all of its colors.

You can check out the previously released gameplay trailer of Arto to see what the game is all about:

Every step that you take in Arto brings back color to the world around you. You will arm yourself with a wide variety of weapons and unlock additional spells and upgrades along with the magic ability to shoot beams of paint. Armed with this arsenal, you will set on a journey through completely different biomes. Each of these biomes is presented in different perspectives and art styles and they will bring different gameplay mechanics into play as you explore them. Throughout your journey, you will come face to face with powerful enemies as you try to restore the color. Depending on your choices, you will explore a branching narrative with multiple endings.

Arto is slated for release on PC through Steam and an official page is now live for the game as well where you can add the game to your wishlist. To support the developer, you can head over to Arto’s official Kickstarter page and donate to the game as well. It currently has 29 days to go and seems to be generating funds at a decent pace considering the fact that the campaign started today. A console release is also planned for Xbox, PlayStation, and Nintendo Switch however they will be confirmed at a later date.
