New Game Plus Armageddon Mode Arrives in Darksiders III

Darksiders III Abyssal Armor

Gunfire Games has released a new update for Darksiders III which adds a New Game Plus as called Armageddon mode for hardcore players. Armageddon is not a difficulty rather it is a completely different mode which will allow players to jump back in the game with all gear and items unlocked in their original playthrough.

Players who want a more difficult experience can try the newest difficulty Reckoning which is even harder than Apocalyptic. During this difficulty, players will really need to bring out their best horseman skills to the table. During this mode, Fury’s dodge windows are smaller, enemies are brutal and will take a lot of beating to finally kill them.

This setting will make Apocalyptic difficulty look easy. Coming back to Armageddon, each playthrough through the mode will have increased difficulty as well. This will continue until the ninth playthrough and once the ninth playthrough is done, players can play the level 9 anytime they want again. Each playthrough will carry over the items and progress from the last one.

Each playthrough will have different enemy encounters, new trophies/achievements to unlock and new items as well. Here you must keep in mind that every time the progression only from the main game will carry over. DLC progression does not matter and it will not carry over.

The new modes will certainly give players more reason to jump back in the game and play it again. It adds a lot more content to the game than just a mere difficulty setting and a new game plus mode. More content will arrive for Darksiders III as well in the coming days and more details on that will be released at a later time.
