Atlas

Ark: Survival Evolved Developers have revealed their next game titled Atlas. Studio Wildcard is planning to launch an open world survival MMO, which is apparently 1,200 times bigger than Ark: Survival Evolved.

In the announcement made at The Game Awards 2018, Jeremy Stieglits and Jesse Rapczak detailed about the upcoming game. Atlas will take advantage of an Nvidia technology called “WaveWorks” to show off its new level of realistic water physics.  A trailer was also shown that features some of the things that are in the game. Take a look at it below.

The trailer showed multiple monsters, in what looks like a base to base combat. Other things include scuba diving, ship to ship battles, shark attacks, dragon attacks, and intense action between pirates.

Players in the game will campaign with over 40,000 simultaneous online players, as their influence expanse from small island, to a pirate empire that spans the Globe. Players will find themselves  waging battles against enemy ships, dive deep in the sea water to explore sunken wrecks and claim your treasure.

Stake your claim in the endless open world as you conquer territory, construct ships, assemble forts, plunder settlements and hire crew to join your powerful armada. Campaign with over 40,000 simultaneous online players, as your influence expands from a small island, to a pirate empire that spans the Globe.

Wage battle against enemy ships, dive deep into the briny water to explore sunken wrecks and claim your treasure! Discover new lands rich with elements, tame natural and mythical creatures, raid forgotten tombs, confront powerful ancient gods and even build your own colonies, cities, and civilizations in this ultimate quest for glory!

The game is launching next week on 13 December, for PC, while an Xbox One version will be confirmed for a later date. However, there is no news whether the game will come for PlayStation 4, but we cannot rule the possibility of it out.
