Developer Dark Point Games has released the latest update for its Early Access title Achilles: Legends Untold which brings new arachnids to the game. Achilles: Legends Untold is an ancient Greek adventure game that is currently available in early access on PC and the developer has released its latest update which not only brings huge spiders but also plants that will eat you alive along with a new look and many quality-of-life improvements as well.

The update’s main highlight is the new expansive area added to the game called the Spider Cave, Inside the Spider Cave, they will face novel and challenging enemies, formidable plant variants, and fiendish fire spiders. The update also brings new save slots to the game which will now allow everyone to have three separate playthroughs of the game. The update also adds a new tutorials tab in the inventory menu which will allow new players to understand everything there is about the game and its mechanics.

The update also brings controller vibrations, and two powerful new GAIA or Group AI Action attacks are also available which will add an extra level of difficulty to the game. Paweł Waszak, CEO of Dark Point Games comments:

Apart from new content additions, the new update also focuses on many improvements to enhance the overall gameplay experience for all players. The dismemberment system has received some new refinements which will offer players more realistic and satisfying combat mechanics. Players can now tinker even more with the game visuals as new graphics customization settings have also been added to the game. You can also customize Achilles with a brand-new look. Many bug fixes and minor upgrades are also part of the implementation of the new patch.

Achilles: Legends Untold is currently available on PC in early access and its full release for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S is slated for a Q3 2023 release. Players can now head over to Steam and add the game to their wishlist or jump into the early access build of the game to get involved in the development as it continues. Additional details about the game will be revealed in the coming months. Achilles: Legends Untold was originally announced back in 2021 and later, the developer shared additional videos detailing the game and its mechanics. Previously, we got to see the early access release date announcement trailer. The previous update added new bosses, challenges, and a mini-map to the game.
