A Plague Tale: Requiem, the sequel to the critically acclaimed A Plague Tale: Innocence, has just got a new story trailer that showcased more narrative elements. The game has been confirmed to launch next month on October 18, 2022, on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, PC, and in Cloud Version on Nintendo Switch.
With new encounters ahead, Amica and Hugo will now set out to find a mysterious island in the hope of ending the curse that runs through Hugo’s blood, with having to rely on the help of the people they meet. As beautiful as the island may seem, it is still a terrifying idea to trust strangers when left with no choice but to trust them.

After escaping their devastated homeland in the first game, the young Du Runes travel far south to new regions and vibrant cities to start a new life, more importantly, to somehow control Hugo’s curse. However, Hugo’s powers start to reawaken, bringing death and destruction back in a flood of devouring rats. Forced to flee once again, the siblings are now placing their hopes on a prophesized island that may hold the key to saving Hugo.
