Star Trek: Voyager – Across the Unknown Showcases Ship Management Systems in New Gameplay Trailer

A new gameplay mechanics deep dive trailer for Star Trek: Voyager – Across the Unknown offers a closer look at how ship reconstruction and internal management shape the experience aboard the U.S.S. Voyager. Developed by gameXcite and published by Daedalic Entertainment, Across the Unknown places players in command of Voyager as it navigates the Delta Quadrant. Daedalic has been dabbling in the management simulation genre for quite some time now, and even some of their genre-mix titles have had some sort of management elements in them.

Titles like Destroyer: The U-Boat Hunter, Into the Emberlands, and Yield! Fall of Rome, all included some sort of management factor in it. On the other hand, the developer gmeXcite is also not a newcomer to the genre, with previous experience of mobile games that had simulation and world-building elements. Star Trek: Voyager – Across the Unknown is the first mainstream title from the developer, and that too, based on an iconic franchise.
