Developer To The Sky and publisher Thunderful Publishing have announced the release date for their upcoming title, GODBREAKERS. GODBREAKERS will be released on October 23, 2025, and it will also offer an updated demo on PC via Steam. The announcement was made through the release of a new trailer, which featured fluid co-op hack-and-slash action. The new updated demo is arriving on October 9, 2025, and it will allow you to try out a small slice of the game before its full release later this month.

GODBREAKERS’ main attraction is its ‘Godbreak’ mechanic, which allows you to steal powers from your enemies and use their own abilities against them. These powers will allow you to perform a variety of different actions in the game, like tunnel underground and emerge underneath an enemy, or charge up and unleash a powerful beam, and even launch yourself towards foes with giant jaws. There is a large number of options available for you to leech from your enemies and use them.
The full release of GODBREAKERS will feature six distinct biomes ranging from the poison-ridden Sabboath to the colorful and eclectic Kar-Aja. You can explore these biomes solo or with up to three other players. The game features slick and responsive combat with fully cancelable actions and devastating chainable abilities. You will find cool loot on each run and fight huge boss battles. These multi-phase boss fights will test your mettle as you confront their evolving attack patterns and distinct personalities.
The upcoming Steam Next Fest demo will offer a brand-new biome, a new boss, a new miniboss, and the ‘Tangles’ optional modifier, which will make the game more challenging to tackle. A free GODBREAKERS demo is available on PC via Steam right now, but it is the old demo, and it lacks the new content that is dropping in the updated demo on October 9, 2025. The current demo is localized into Simplified Chinese, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Brazilian Portuguese, Russian, Serbian, Spanish, and Ukrainian.
