The dark monster taming game Monster Crown was released in Early Access on Steam last month and less than a month after, the first content update for Monster Crown has arrived. Since its release, the game is currently sitting on a ‘Very Positive’ rating and the developer Studio Aurum has released the very first content update for the game with new content and features added to the title such as NET Eggs and the ‘Move Learner’ feature.
According to the official press release, the new additions are just the start of the many features still planned for the game that will be released for the game in the coming days. For the time being, let’s look at the new features added to the game. Starting with the NET Eggs, this new egg type will allow you to breed with a random monster egg, which contains monster genes from players all over the world.
The egg serves as a wild-card parent that results in a surprise monster. The new ‘Move Learner’ mechanic will allow monsters to remember a new set of moves from its large roster of attacks. Monsters in the game can learn a lot of moves however they can only remember six moves at a single time. Now, you can choose which moves your monsters remember at any given time. You can also now trade your monsters online with one of your choices from tons of creations from around the world.
Within a month of its release in Early Access of Steam, the game has seen decent traffic and pretty good reviews as well. The game offers an intriguing story with plenty of content, monsters, and features to explore. This content has been expanded with the new update and this will continue to expand even more with more content drops and updates.
