During the latest Nintendo’s Indie World showcase, Tic Toc Games presented its brand new project B’ARK which stands for Bio-Interstellar Ark. B.ARK is a team-based side-scrolling space shoot’em up launching on Nintendo Switch in Q4 2020 as a timed exclusive. In B.ARK, your main goal is to control cute animal pilots as they fly their adorable and uniquely powerful ships and defeat wave after wave of sea creature cyborgs to save the earth.
B.ARK is a family-focused game that offers family-family gameplay which also encourages competition. It allows 4 player couch co-op as you and your family or friends navigate the galaxy, blasting through a space armada of fishy themed enemies. You will need to create unique attack strategies with your team, upgrade your ships and also explore the solar system to find the challenging secret ending of the game.
As much as the game encourages competitive gameplay, communication is also vital with your team to defeat waves of enemies. You will unlock new paths and also sync your super abilities to defeat tougher enemies. As you travel the universe, you will come across hidden shops that will allow you to customize your ship with wacky weapons, creating laugh-out-loud experiences and frenzied space battles with different bosses inspired by the creatures only found in the least explored ocean depths.
Director of Production, Heather Beliveau said:
We have evolved over time as a game development studio from a young scrappy team who wanted to play video games, into people with families who now have kids that want to play with us. B.ARK is a family-focused game that builds a cooperative spirit while still encouraging competition.
Key features of B.ARK include:
- Choose between 4 different animal aviators! Each one with their own unique gameplay, style, and superpower!
- 4 Player Co-Op! Gather your closest kin and fight back against the onslaught of underwater cybernetic forces!
- Combine your character’s special attack with the other B.ARK Pilots for hyper combos!
- Battle and reclaim our portion of the Milky Way through 20+ levels of pulse-pounding action!
B.ARK is slated for a release in Nintendo Switch first this fall. A store page for B.ARK is also now live on Nintendo eStore.
