Underwater Sci-Fi Side-Scrolling Shooter X-Out: Resurfaced Arrives on GOG After Console and PC Debut

X-Out: Resurfaced Review X-OUT: Resurfaced GOG

ININ Games and Ziggurat Interactive have announced the GOG launch of X-OUT: Resurfaced, a remaster of the classic side-scrolling shoot ‘em up. X-Out: Remastered was released on consoles and PC earlier this year, but now the developers have expanded the list of PC stores with the addition of GOG, and it makes perfect sense because GOG is known for preserving classic video games for future generations. With a game like X-OUT: Resurfaced, GOG is the perfect platform for the classic title.

Check out the GOG Launch Trailer for X-Out: Resurfaced below:

X-OUT: Resurfaced features the thrilling gameplay of the original game released back in 1990, faithfully restored and enhanced for modern systems. In the game, you jump into your vessel and pilot it through different underwater levels while avoiding hazards and battling giant sea creatures. You have limited resources and strategic updates for your vessel, which makes it a tough and intense experience.

To celebrate the GOG launch of the title, the developers are currently offering a discounted price of 25% off the base price, along with additional promotions on previously released platforms. We reviewed the PS5 version of X-OUT: Resurfaced, in which we loved the atmospheric level design and intense combat of the title.

X-OUT: Resurfaced is currently available on PS5, PS4, Nintendo Switch 1 and 2, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and GOG. If you want to add its physical edition to your collection, some Special Editions are currently in stock at ININ Games’ official store.
