The Last of Us Part 2 contains a handful of Easter eggs that we have so far discovered in the gameplay. While there might be more yet to be found, this guide will show you where to find some of the Easter eggs in the game.

This guide contains spoilers as it details each location of the Easter eggs in the various chapters of the game.

Below we have detailed some of the Easter eggs found in the game. The guide will be updated as we find more Easter eggs.

PlayStation 3 Console

You can actually find a few PlayStation 3 consoles, with two of the DualShock joysticks and a handful of PS3 games packed in their disc cases. The PlayStation 3 consoles are actually located in some of the apartments in the Patrol chapter of the game.

PlayStation Games – Uncharted, Jak & Daxter

Right next to the PlayStation 3, you will also find a few games which you might be very familiar with. There are a couple of PlayStation exclusive games like Uncharted and Jak & Daxter, which were both released on the console in real life.

Again, you have to look for the PlayStation 3 consoles in the apartments that are in the Patrol chapter.

PlayStation Vita

If you thought the PlayStation 3 was the only console you would find, you were wrong. A PlayStation Vita console can also be seen in the game, which was quite famous back in the day when the PlayStation 3 main console.

In one of the cutscenes, you will see Ellie attacking and stabbing Whitney while she is playing on her Vita. The game she plays on it is Devolver Digital’s Hotline Miami, which is also another Easter egg considering it is a real game.

Strange Artifact / Precursor Orb (Jak & Daxter)

One of the Artifacts in the game that you can find is the Strange Artifact. This item can be found in the Hostile Territory chapter of the game. If you are familiar with Jak & Daxter, you will instantly recognize it as the Precursor Orb, the main collectible item in the popular PlayStation game.

Uncharted’s Nathan Drake Ring

Just like the Strange Artifact, you can also find another artifact which is the Engraved Ring in the vault of the Westlake Bank in Downtown Seattle. The engravings on the ring are “Sic Parvis Magna, which are the same on the ring that Nathan Drake wears.

Crash Bandicoot Reference

One of the Easter eggs is unmistakably a title reference to Crash Bandicoot. In one of the funny cutscenes where Dina and Ellie are raiding Eugene’s bunker, the girls come across Eugene’s porn collection. One of the videos is titled “Smash Brandi’s Cootch,” which is quite hilarious and is a clear reference to Crash Bandicoot.

Giraffe Toy

Giraffes are quite special in The Last of Us, starting with the first game where you see the animals for the first time in the game. You can find a small giraffe toy in one of the toy cabinets in the Patrol chapter of the game.

The item is interactable, which will prompt Elli to jot down a Journal Entry when you interact with the toy.
