The creator of The Binding of Isaac, Edmund McMillen has revealed details about the final, upcoming DLC update for The Binding of Isaac called Repentance. This new update can be considered as a sequel of the game because it is huge, and it brings tons of new content to the game. The new update is complete 90% and the team is currently finalizing the development of the title.
The Binding of Isaac: Repentance will be the final DLC cum update for the game and it will release for both PC and consoles. Additional details about the DLC will be released in the coming days, specifically in the second half of October on the official blog post of the title. This is officially marked as a DLC of the original The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth and it will require the base game as well for playing.
Repentance will allow Isaac to explore all-new places where he has never been before. This DLC will be his biggest challenge yet as he faces new bosses and enemies. Players will have new weapon combos to explore and use in their fight along with new items. This will follow the same rogue-like dungeon-crawling of the original title but will introduce a lot of new changes and improvements to the whole formula to deliver the best The Binding of Isaac experience ever.
And of course for those wondering we still don’t have a release date yet but we think end of year is still doable 😉 https://t.co/uc3TpvWpv1
