Noodlecake Studios have announced that their road trip adventure game Summer Catchers is releasing on Nintendo Switch tomorrow. Pre-orders are now live for the Nintendo Switch version and the game is offering a 50% discount until February 15, 2021. The discount is celebrating the anniversary of the original title of the game. The sale is not just limited to the Nintendo Switch version as PC and mobile players can also avail the 50% discount.
Summer Catchers follows the story of Chu, a young girl from the frozen lands who has never seen summer. She sets out to travel to distant lands of mystery and strange creatures along with her trusty wooden car. As she meets new people in new lands, some of them are friendly while some of them will try to hinder her quest for summer days.
You will travel through shadowy forests, dark swamps, vast valleys, and underground cities where Chu will come across various obstacles and larger-than-life situations that she will need to overcome with the help of her trusty travel bag. Chu can equip the right tools at the right time and using this ability, you can help her work her way through these uncharted lands, discovering lost secrets and finding new friends along the way.

Summer Catchers is a mix of narrative adventure and ‘endless’ runner as each level features numerous tasks for you to complete for various companions. During these missions, you will crash often however you can always repair your vehicle and continue with the tasks. You have to complete all of the tasks in any given mission. Apart from main tasks, you will also come across various random encounters with creatures.
