StarRupture Crafting Materials Guide – Find Calcium, Glowcap, Grubbler, More

StarRupture Crafting Materials Guide

Surviving and progressing in StarRupture depends heavily on knowing where to find the right crafting materials. Some resources are easy to collect early, while others only appear after rupture events or in risky zones. From crafting machines in your factory to cooking strong food and buffs at your base, every resource has its place. In this StarRupture Crafting Materials Guide, we will show you where you can find every important crafting material on the map.

Crafting Materials Guide – StarRupture

Crafting materials in StarRupture are spread across the entire planet. Knowing where to find these materials will save you a lot of time.

Calcium Ore Locations

Calcium Ore appears in bright white plateaus that often have small pools of water on their surface. These plateaus are easy to recognize once you see them. If you explore north and northeast from the Orbital Lander, you will find multiple Calcium Ore deposits grouped closely together, making early collection fairly straightforward.

Glowcap Locations

Glowcap only grows inside underground caves. These caves are not always open because their entrances are covered by vines and won’t be opened until the planet is burned. After a rupture burns the surface, the vines disappear, allowing access. Glowcaps are very useful, so it is a good idea to search caves right after a rupture ends. You can use the mushrooms to make a powerful food.

Grubbler Locations

Grubblers are collected from twisted and curved trees found across different areas of the map. Each group of trees usually contains one to three Grubblers. As you approach closer to the tree, you can hear a distinct chirping sound, which helps you locate them more easily.

Helium-3 Locations

Helium-3 is mainly found far from the starting area, especially toward the north and east. It appears as large purple deposits, but gathering large amounts requires unlocking a special extractor machine first. Smaller meteor fragments containing Helium-3 are scattered around the world and can be spotted by their purple smoke. Bigger meteors after ruptures also provide this resource.

Hydrobulb Locations

Hydrobulbs grow near water and are spread widely across the map. Early in the game, they are one of the most reliable ways to get water. Later on, once you know how to cook, Hydrobulbs become even more important for making food.

Ignitium Locations

Right after a rupture, you will find the Ignitium, which is a rare, glowing orange material. It forms on the burned surface of the planet and is very easy to spot. However, it does not stay for long, so you need to collect it quickly once it’s safe to go outside.

Meteorite Heart Locations

Meteorite Hearts are obtained by fully destroying meteors using a Harvester. These items are required for building Base Cores and can also be analyzed for data points. Keeping one with you is helpful, especially when traveling far from your base, as it allows you to build an emergency shelter during rupture danger.

Oxallop Locations

Oxallop is a rare plant that looks like a flower with small blue bulbs. It has only been found in small groups, mainly in northern areas. You should collect it immediately whenever you come across it.

Polifruit Locations

Polifruit is a very common plant that resembles short orange corn. It grows in large numbers across many parts of the world. This plant works well as an early food source, and later can be cooked into stronger meals.

Prickler Locations

Pricklers grow on tall purple cactus plants that appear in fields filled with short red bushes. When cooked, Pricklers create a food item that restores both hunger and hydration without negative effects, making them worth collecting in large amounts.

Prism Herb Locations

Prism Herbs are usually found growing in the center of small ponds or lakes, mainly far north and east of the starting zone. They are fairly rare, but if you manage to gather enough, they can be turned into very useful crafted items.

Purplant Locations

Purplant is a purple mushroom that grows attached to rocks. You will often find them in shaded locations like canyons. In the early game, this is the most reliable resource for removing toxicity, so it is important to collect whenever you see it.

Serpent Root Locations

Serpent Root grows in wide dirt fields located mostly to the north and east. These plants are spaced far apart, and you will usually find only a few in one area. Even so, collecting them whenever possible helps unlock additional food options.

Star Tears Locations

Star Tears appear as tall white mushrooms with blue spots growing on rocks. They can be found throughout the world, but usually only in small numbers. These are useful for unlocking health-restoring food recipes, so they are always worth picking up.

Sulheart Locations

Sulheart is found only within sulfur fields, which release dangerous yellow gas. These areas can be spotted easily on the map due to their bright yellow color. Sulheart is used for crafting strong buff foods that improve stats or resistances.

Sulfur Ore Locations

Sulfur Ore also exists inside sulfur fields, but it cannot be mined early in the game. Accessing it requires significant progress in the Corporation tech trees.

Titanium Ore Locations

Titanium Ore is very common and is found in metallic regions made of hexagon-shaped columns. You can also obtain it by mining small silver rocks or meteors found throughout the world.

Quartz Ore Locations

Quartz Ore, like Glowcap mushrooms, can only be found in underground caves. These caves are sealed by vines and become accessible only after ruptures burn the vines are burned away. Each cave contains only a small amount of Quartz, so collecting large quantities requires visiting many caves.

War Bonds Locations

War Bonds are mainly found on dead bodies scattered around the map. It is a type of currency and is required to unlock and upgrade weapons, making it very valuable. Small amounts can also be earned by leveling up in the Corporation tech tree.

Wolfram Ore Locations

Wolfram Ore comes from large orange metal deposits found in muddy areas. Like Titanium, it can also be collected by mining smaller rocks or meteors with the same orange color.
