Untold Tales has partnered with German developer DreamWorlds to bring launch their retro, top-down shooter Splatter Zombiecalypse Now on Nintendo Switch. The game launches next week on October 7, 2022.

The game is a top-down shooter with a film-noir-singleplayer campaign where you will be fighting against all kinds of monster hordes with a huge arsenal of weapons. Watch the game’s trailer below:

There are also interesting characters to meet, accomplish several side quests, engage in boss fights and upgrade your weapons. As for the zombies, they can’t stand the light, so you will have to use your flashlight strategically to create breathing space in battles and to expose hidden weaknesses of the enemies.

Explore the surroundings to find new weapons, resources, and secret areas. Spend the money you collect to upgrade your guns and unlock new weapon features and discover the best tactics against a variety of monsters. As for the story mode, it spans 16 levels with fully voiced NPCs and dialogs, and animated cutscenes.

Splatter Zombiecalypse Now has long been available on PC ever since its release in 2014 but makes its way to Nintendo Switch after 8 years. The game will be available as a digital download on the Nintendo eShop and will be available for $7.99.
