There are plenty of items in the game that offer you both offense or defense abilities. Each type of item comes in its own different rarities with increased effects depending on the rarity type. The game has 5 different types of item rarities:
- Common
- Uncommon
- Rare
- Epic
- Legendary
Items are gound in Chests, which come in their own rarities as well. The higher the rarity of a Chest, the better the chances of getting high rarity items inside.

Chests
Chests come in different sizes or rarities in Spellbreak. The smallest and the most common of the bunch is the Small Chests which has the chance of spawning a Rare or Epic item. The highest rarity chest is the Mana Vault, which has a Legendary item or a Legendary/Epic item chance

Runes
Runes offer players different abilities that can be used in the game. Each Rune comes in different rarities where their cooldown period is determined by how rare the Rune is.

| Dash Rune | Allows you to dash quickly in the direction you are moving towards |
| Featherfall Rune | This Rune allows you to leap in the air and drop down slowly. |
| Flight Rune | Allows short period of flying that is disrupted if you hit something or jump |
| Invisibility Rune | Increases speed and makes you invisible for a few short period |
| Springstep Rune | Jump in the air towards the direction you were moving |
| Teleportation Rune | Allows you to teleport to a set location. |
Belts, Boots, and Amulets
Just like any other battle royale game, Spellbreak also offers armor to players to increase their defense stats. The game offers Belts, Boots and Amulets

Consumables
The final type of items that the game offers are the consumable items. These are basically items that replenish your health or grant you some armor depending on the type of consumable item they are.
Small Health Potion
Gives you 20 health for 10 seconds after consuming it for 3 seconds
Large Health Potion
Gives you 50 health for 10 seconds after consuming it for 6 seconds
Small Armor Shard
Gives you 20 armor for 10 seconds after using it for 3 seconds
Large Armor Shard
Gives you 50 armor for 10 seconds after using it for 6 seconds.
